As die eienaar van Leeuwbult Bonsmara, is ek opgewonde om die vordering van ons jong bulle te deel. Ek het hierdie week ’n paar foto’s geneem van ons 10 maande oue bulle wat deur die finale stadium by ons Fase C-toetsstasie op die plaas Whitfield gaan. Hoewel hierdie jong bulle nie gereed sal wees vir die jaar se produksieveiling nie, getuig hulle van die gehalte van diere wat Leeuwbult produseer.
Ek self het die vordering van hierdie jong bulle noukeurig dopgehou terwyl hulle streng toetse ondergaan om hul genetiese potensiaal vir teling te bepaal. Die Fase C-toetsstasie is waar ons onder meer hul groeitempo, voerdoeltreffendheid en karkasgehalte meet. Dit is 'n uitdagende proses, maar dit is nodig om te verseker dat net die beste bulle deurdring en vir teling geselekteer word. (Lees meer oor ons Teelbeleid)
Ek heg 'n paar foto's hier onder aan van die jong bulle wat deur hul finale toetse gaan, en hulle lyk fantasties. Hulle is sterk, gesond en vol potensiaal. Ek is vol vertroue dat hulle 'n waardevolle toevoeging tot enige kudde sal maak en hul voortreflike genetika aan hul nageslag sal oordra.
By Leeuwbult Bonsmara is ons toegewyd aan die teel van topgehalte Bonsmara-beeste wat gehard, aanpasbaar en doeltreffend is. Ons fokus op die ras het ons oor die jare talle toekennings besorg, en ek is trots om te sê dat ons hierdie tradisie van uitnemendheid voortsit.
Alhoewel hierdie jong bulle nie gereed sal wees vir die 2023-produksieveiling nie, nooi ek kopers uit om kennis te neem van hul uitsonderlike kwaliteit en standaarde. Ons jaarlikse veiling vind op 22 Junie 2023 plaas, en ek is trots op die diere wat ons te koop gaan aanbied. Ons verbintenis tot die teel van topgehalte Bonsmara-beeste is duidelik in hul krag en gesondheid, en ek is vol vertroue dat hulle 'n waardevolle toevoeging tot enige kudde sal maak. Ek sien uit daarna om die resultate van ons harde werk by die veiling met julle te deel!

As the owner of Leeuwbult Bonsmara, I'm excited to share some new developments with our young bulls. This week I took some photos of our 10-month-old bulls going through the final stage at our Phase C Testing station on the farm Whitfield. Although these young bulls are not ready for the upcoming production auction in 2023, they're a testament to the quality of animals that Leeuwbult produces.
As I do with all the bonsmaras that pass through Leeuwbult, I've been overseeing the progress of these young bulls as they undergo rigorous testing to determine their genetic potential for breeding. The Phase C Testing Station is where we measure their growth rate, feed efficiency, and carcass quality, among other factors. It's a challenging process, but it's necessary to ensure that only the best bulls make it through and are selected for breeding.

I have attached the photos of the young bulls going through their final tests below, and they're looking fantastic. They're strong, healthy, and full of potential. I'm confident that, once they are ready, they'll make a valuable addition to any herd and will pass on their superior genetics to their offspring.
