Phase C Testing Station
To measure is to know - if you cannot measure it, you cannot improve it.
The Leeuwbult testing station focuses on measuring the performance of our young animals, typically at around 12 to 18 months of age, with the goal of identifying the most genetically superior animals for breeding. We focus on measuring for weight gain, feed efficiency, and conformation as well as carcass characteristics.
Additionally, having a phase C testing station allows us to make more efficient use of resources by selecting the best animals to invest in while culling the less superior animals.
This information is supplied to our buyers to help them to make informed decisions about which animals will suit their farm the best.
